Schedule

The 11th edition of the IFC Cheerleading World Championships will be held over the course of three competition days: Thursday 23rd, Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th November (Friday 24th is a rehearsal day). A more detailed time schedule will be available nearer to the competition.

Categories

The Cheerleading World Championships features three different competition categories: Cheerleading, Cheer Dance and Urban Cheer Dance.
Each category is distinctive in style, yet all exhibit shared characteristics such as teamwork, energetic performances and the display of a dynamic combination of skills.

Age Groups and Divisions

The Cheerleading World Championships brings together athletes from four different age groups. Within each age group, competition is organized into multiple Cheerleading, Cheer Dance and Urban Cheer Dance divisions.

Takasaki Arena

​The championships will be held at Takasaki Arena, which was also the venue for the 2017 and 2019 editions of the event.
Takasaki Arena is conveniently located 8 minutes’ walk from JR Takasaki Station. Many hotels, restaurants, and shops are located within walking distance.

The Lucky Town Takasaki

Takasaki is a residential area within commuting distance of Tokyo thanks to direct access to major train stations in the capital via the Shonan-Shinjuku and Ueno-Tokyo lines.
Takasaki is around 50 minutes by Shinkansen from Tokyo Station or approximately 2 hours by car from central Tokyo.
